Robert Sherman

Songwriter and Disney Legend Richard M. Sherman died today at the age of 95. Part of a songwriting team with his brother Robert (referred to as "The Sherman Brothers"), he wrote many hit songs, including those from the classic Walt Disney film "Mary Poppins" such as “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious", “Feed the Birds”, and their Oscar-winning “Chim Chim Cher-ee". The duo wrote songs for many Disney musical classics, including "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”, "The Jungle Book", and "The Aristocats", becoming the songwriting team to have written the most film musical song scores in history. They also penned the Disney Theme park ride song "It's a Small World".
